Here's what we see in our future.
To ensure Nigerians from age 40years be screened for Colorectal Cancer, this can be achieved by having minimum of two Screening centers in each state which will be equipped with Stool-based screening service ; Guaiac-Based Fecal Occult Blood Test (FOBT) and Fecal immunochemical test (FIT) including Colonoscopy unit by the year 2030 so has to have a free colorectal cancer patients in Nigeria and Africa at large. The screening Centers will facilitate early detection of the disease, accurate assessment and allow appropriate management before the disease becomes life threatening.
